To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Cancer What!!! My husband and I were in a serious car accident in 2005. About a week after the accident my husband started experiencing severe pain in his abdomen and chest. After many stays in the hospital and many tests, several different diagonsis were given. It was believed that a hematoma had formed around the adneral gland from trauma. It was thought to disapate over time. But the mass continued to grow. January 2006 they doctors decided to operate as my husband was extremely weak, and had lost appox. 30 lbs. After the 20cm 10lb. mass was tested, it was determined to be a adneral carcinoma. He has been healthy for 4 years now, with no problems. A CT scan is done every 6 months, but all is well. We have a hard time believing that this was cancer, and not accident related, but I am very thankful to have him healthy and cancer free!!! Comments
