Hey all. I’m a male age 45. I was diagnosed with invasive bladder when I was 42. That was May 1, 2005. On June 1, 2005 I had a radical cystoprostatectomy with a continent diversion. We’ll talk in laymans terms: the docs removed my bladder, prostrate and lymph nodes in the surrounding area.

Feb 06 went to Dr after work-sent me to ER-9:30am clumps of blood no urin-12 bottles of saline solution to flush bladder with a straight cath. CT scan then MRI and by 3pm ballon cath to pee.
6pm OR room woke at 10pm=Bladder Cancer.

I first contracted bladder cancer in 1996 at the age of 51 the tumor was removed surgically, but grew back, i was then referred for a six week course of radiotherapy, from then on i have had check ups every three months and regular biopsies taken, luckily my tumor has not returned, even though my consultant tells me it was a very invasive type.
