To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Bladder cancer story my name is bob. i’m a 63 year old retired property manager in san francisco. an ultrasound and various tests showed bladder cancer he set me up with an appointment with the urology dept. at san francisco general hospital. my options were limited and i finally decided to go with a radical cystetomy, removal of both bladder and prostate, at the use of a urostomy bag for the rest of my life. on sept 6 i checked in for the surgery which should have gottan me released in about 2 weeks. how wrong we all were. one set back after another and two surgeries. i was released on oct. 26 and home never seemed so sweet. i have good days and bad days but am determined to regain my strength slowly but surely. i’m hoping to connect with others in my situation.
