Bladder Cancer

I was 60 yrs old and the 1st symptom I got was blood in my urine. It scared me enough to call a Urologyst right away. He did a urine test and told me I had cancer, what stage came next. I had a CT scan and sure enough it was a tumor. I dont think I was scared just maybe numb, maybe still in denial, but I determined to beat this thing.
I had surgery to remove the tumor (stage 3) and then had BCG treatments for 6 weeks folowing my surgery. I have been cancer free for 2 years. I just wanted to say..Dont Give UP !!!!
The part that made me the angriest was when I went to my regular doctor, he told me he wasnt concerned..even when I told him my oldest sister died of bladder cancer .The Jerk !!! You know your own body, if you feel something is NOT normal, please call a specialist. Its your LIFE.
