To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Advice: Get a GREAT doctor Having a good one is sometimes not enough. In early December 2008, my FP physician found blood in my urine and sent me to a urologist He said it didn’t look like any big deal when he did the urine dip-stick, but ordered a CT and found “something”. I was sent to the operating room a couple of days later and had a large malignancy removed. Case closed: Not so fast. Now we are in May of 2009 and “It’s back” and my PSA is 4.3. We are waiting for biopsies to return next week and will do BCG if needed. The message: don’t turn your back on your condition. Close monitoring is an absolute. Prays to everyone on this site.
