Grade 2 Oligoastrocytoma

Just over 2 years ago, the migraines that i had struggled with since the age of nine, started to change. I started waking up with really bad headaches and struggles pretty much all day with nausea. I was also having some memory trouble.

A wife and mom of 4 children under the the age of 10, we hoped and prayed for the best…I spent many months trying migraine medications when my family Dr. recommended a Ct…just to be sure…never could I have imagined the results…a brain tumor…one month later, I had a biopsy which revealed the diagnosis. an inoperable grade 2 Oligoastrocytoma.

After 11 rounds of Temodar, the tumor is now shown by MRI to be stable and unchanged for the last few months.
I struggle every day with bad headaches, nausea and fatigue…and have not yet gained a good level of pain control…would so love to live the rest of my life with a little more pain control…. thankful to still be here with my family!
