To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My father in coma My father suffered a massive heart failure 27 months back, and his breathing stopped completely, pulse zero, heart beat zero, blood pressure zero. We immediately shifted him to the hospital within 10 minutes during which he had C.P.R. by a family doctor and later on at the hospital he was given 24 D.C. shocks due to which the heart revived back. Ever since the heart, kidneys, lungs, liver, and other body functions are normal. However, the neurological damage done during the course of heart failure is still not recovering and he continues to be in coma with slight marginal improvement over the period. He continues to have eye blinking, normal sleep-wake up cycle, spontaneous movement of limbs and he listens to what we say but he cannot follow verbal command or speak. Over the course of these 27 months my mother has shown extra ordinary courage and patience and she is prepared to fight an ever lasting battle to bring my father back to live meaningful life again and her courage has helped us and our other family members to fight this long war against coma. The caring given by my mother is so best that although 27 months my father is in bed, he has not developed a single bed sore or any other physical abnormality of the body and not lost even 1 kg. of weight and continues to maintain the face lustre same redness on my dad’s face with clean shaven, dressed up hair look. Please pray for my dad’s early recovery. And god forbid ever if your loved one fell in such situation have patience and courage. I will post again when my father recovers out of coma. Comments
