Dyserythropoietic Anemia Type 1

by: B.B. on Fri, Jul 13 2007

I have this blood disorder & would very much like to know if there is anyone else who has this problem. Recently, my doctor gave me sulfa drugs (which he knew I wasn’t suppose to take) & has nearly shut my bone marrow down. My red count as of July 2nd is 1.94..I have to have frequent transfusions which adds to the problem of already an overload of iron…anyone know of this disorder?
