Endometrial Cancer Stage 3 Grade 2

by: bh on Wed, Apr 02 2008

I was diagnosed on 02/12/07 with Endometrial Cancer. It was been the most challenging year of my and my family lives. On March 8, 2007, I had surgery, and start chemotherapy on 04/16/07. I would recommend any one who suspects that they may be high risk, and your physician is not listening to you as a patient get a second opinion as quickly as possible. I had done my yearly check faithfully each year, and my physician stated that I was just going through the change. When I was diagnosed, I was in Stage 3 and Grade 2. I have been through 2 rounds of chemo already.

I would recommend to any woman that you not give up even if you are in Stage 3 Endometrial Cancer. I have worked a full time job with only 1 short stay in the hospital (2 days). I believe that it is not only the chemotherapy but faith in God, prayers of others, and a positive attitude that have gotten me through the challenge. I hope that by sharing my story other women will question and act upon your feelings about your bodies.
