To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download endometrial cancer I am so angry when I read about these young woman who are 40 and under and are being diagnosied with endometrial cancer and than reading about them having hystrectomys. We are hear Doctors and we are young and vivacious and tryng to start families and we are finding out that we have endometrial cancer. I believe the food we eat and the sedentary lifestyle is part of the problem. Not the whole problem but part of it. I know the distraction, the disbelief and the devistation. The first time I was in and out of ER’s bleeding heavy….all the typical signs. No one was listening initially than finally one man did exploratory surgery as he called it. It was not good. Schedule the first D& C December 16th 2002 I was told complex Atypia hyperplasia. Told lets try megace…high dose, for three months and see what it does. Let me tell you the stuff has side effects. I was the typical PCOS, flutuating wieght, never pregnant, endometriosis kinda girl…aka walking billboard. More woman need to know about megace and there options. I have met too many woman that would have willing gone down that road for as long as they safely could if it gave them a chance to have a child. I know giving birth or being a mom is not for everyone. But it is about knowledge and being informed and making that choice for yourself not having it taken from you. Today I still have leg problems…My hair is not as thick as it was and I still have acne but I have two really important things…the ability to make a choice for myself and hope. Please ladies get informed…read…read…read…and than talk…we need to talk to each other so we know whats out there. We need to empower ourselves. Pass the word. Comments
