Shocked!

Well, I am 27, just got married 6 months ago, and have no children. My husband does not have any children either. Yes, surprisingly I have endometrial cancer; it’s in the early stage. I was diagnosed in late July 2009. I am still in a trance and trying to cope with this reality. My husband has been extremely supportive. I am, however, glad to find out now that it’s in an early stage. I have PCOS and was in the process to find out my potential to start a family when a pelvic ultrasound, endometrial biopsy, and a d and confirmed that I have cancer.

I need a child! I have always dreamed of having a family…but, I am trusting in God to make it happen for me. My gynecologic oncologist prescribed Megace and will check with a biopsy in 3 months. I am considering invitro after the cancer is reversed. I met with a reproductive endocrinologist already, though she seems a little concerned about getting me pregnant knowing my status with cancer. Anyone had any success with that? I would love to hear success stories from my exact situations or similar ones. how long were you on megace? How long did it take to conceive? Did you use assisted fertility technologies etc? Thanks so much.
