in Feburary my husband was dignased with mandible and tongue cancer. On Feburary 21. He went in for his first surgury. They removed his jaw bone the left side and a part of his tongue and some limp nodes on the same side.

The next day he went in for surgury he was in there for 15 and hours. They took a bone out of leg and rebuilt his jaw and then did a skin graft off his thigh to make him a gum. He was in the hospital for 32 long days. He is out we have been doing radiation 5 days a week for the last five weeks. we are on our last week of radiation. And we are on our third week of chemo. Still have some more chemo to go.

The doctors are truely amazed about how good he is doing. We have some very wonderful doctors. They have kept us upbeat and have helped us try to stay positive about everything. I feel so bad for him though it has really changed his apparance. As you can imagine. But we are thanking God every minute of everyday for helping us get this far. I just wish there was more imformation on this type of cancer. Thank You
