It was a small pea sized lump. He told he didn’t see anything that maybe I should go to my regular DR. So, I went and had full head xrays done and was told nothing was there. The pea sized lump was still there, but I shrugged it off after being told there was no problem. I spent the next couple of years moving around the country and finally settled in Dallas Texas. My pea sized lump was still there only now visible external swelling was apparent in my cheek. In March of this year, after realizing I was going to be here awhile, I settled in to find a primary care physician. He was concerned, ordered xrays and an MRI as well as referred me to an Oral surgeon Any way, 3 great oral surgeons, a CT scan and biopsy, I still do not have a definitve answer. Now, being refered to Head and Neck unit at the University of Texas. The diagnosis to date is probably a benign salivary gland tumor,…maybe. I was really hoping the biopsy would have provided more than probables and maybes. Here is to keeping the faith, and to keep on keepin on. Comments
