To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download A moms fight In October of 2006 my mom and I traveled to England and Scotland. She was 63. After a fall in Heathrow airport she visted with her doctor at home to check into a perceived muscle strain. They found a 4 cm tumor in her left lung. Soon thereafter it was diagnosed as Andeocaricinoma stage 3B. She went through one unsuccesfull round of Chemo and radiation. In February and March of 2007 she was hospitalized with blood clots and plueral effusion. After about a month in the hospital she was sent to rehab to rebuild her strength. While in rehab we visited a major cancer center to get a second opinion on further treatment. A new course of action was prescribed. The next morning she was rushed to the hospital with chest pains. In the last week and half she has steadily gone down hill and the doctors have exhausted their options. She is not on palliative care and we don’t expect her to last much longer. The worst thing is that she is now delusional and unintellible. She is just 63. And she was due to attend my wedding in June. Comments
