what a mess

by: jennifer on Tue, Sep 11 2007

At this moment in time i feel my life is such a mess. My marraige has been on the rocks for sometime now and we eventually split in february this year. My husband smoked 30/40 cigarettes a day and drank 3 litres of whisky a week but denied he had a problem. Since the split we have not had much to do with each other, then out of the blue 3 weeks ago my husbands son told me his dad was in hospital with cancer of the lung and liver with 6/12 months to live. I went to see him that night and was absolutley devistated to see how ill he was, i am not even sure if he will see 2 months. Can he have had this illness for sometime because if so it might explain how he changed so much, i;e attitude, anger, blaming me for things i had not done. My upset is still not over as his family are blaming me for everything and think i am only seeing him for what i can get after he has gone even though it was my husband who asked to see me, we may have seperated but i still care .
