To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Confused lymphoma I was diagnosed in Jan. 2008 with defused large B-cell Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and went through 9 rounds of R-CHOP and was told that I was in remission last Sept. 2009. In the middle of Jan. 2009 I went for a 3 month check up and was told that everything was fine. A week later I went for a cystoscopy of the bladder and became ill about two days later with a fever, cough and chills. I went back to the cancer specialist and after several tests and biopsy was told that the lymphoma had come back, but it looked confusing and they couldn’t figure out if it was Defused large B-cell Non-hodgkins or Hodgkins lymphoma, the marker CD20 which I first had that specifically showed that it was Defused large B-cell non-hodgkins lymphoma, so they decided to present it to a round table and the conclusion was Defused large B-cell non-hodgkins lymphoma. I went through another round of chemo using the drugs gemcitabine and cysplatin, I began feeling much better and after two rounds of therapy, a cat scan was done of the chest and abdomen, the results can back that there was shrinkage of the tumors in all places except the liver which doubled in size, so the therapy was stopped. I am now on a combination of prednisone and etoposide which is my last resort. Does any out there have or know of someone who had the same disease, I would like to hear from anyone who had been treated or is in a clinical trial. October 2009
