To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Mouth Cancer I had a small lump that developed under the right side of my tongue. At first I just thought it was a ruptured blood vessel. I smoked and still do. Anyway, the lump started getting bigger. So i went to my doctor who took a biopsy of the lump. Sure enough it was cancer. Ther surgeon asked me if and how much I dipped smokeless tobacco or chewing tobacco. I never did either one. He stated that that was unusual because normally that type of cancer was found in dippers or chewers. The operation was successful in removing all the cancer. The surgeon went on and took my Lymph Nodes out on the right side. They did not have cancer in them. My cancer was found and removed early. But I still get concerned when I have something unusual going on with my mouth and neck area. Comments
