Not Enough Time

by: CT on Tue, Dec 11 2007

My 65 year old father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on October 4 and died on October 10. For several months he hadn’t seemed like himself; fatigue, confusion, weird statements, weight loss, etc. He chose not to go to the doctor until he was too far gone. By the time he checked into the hospital, he has lost 30 lbs., was yellow from the cancer spreading to his liver, and couldn’t hold down any food at all. Please, if you or anyone you love has any symptoms at all make sure to go to the doctor. My father deserved more time and I will miss him everyday for the rest of my life.
