To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Pancreatic Cancer-Adjuvant Therapy My father was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It was discovered (very early) by the Grace of God as his physician was testing for other health issues but was keen enough to spot something suspicious in the pancreas tail(as opposed to the head which is more complicated). They were going to do open surgery but luckily through research we found it could be non less invasively(laprascopically) . He did have to have his spleen removed and the pathology showed effect in the pancreatic lymph nodes. He completed surgery and had some complications post surgically but is coming along. He is now facing the decision of adjuvant therapy. Radiation ,Radiation + Chem, Chemo or nothing. This appears to be a highly debated area amongst professionals and makes decisions even more difficult when every second counts. I have been doing as much research as possible on doctors, research etc so we as a family may help my father with his decision. GodBless to anyone and their family conquering this illness! Comments
