Scared daughter

by: T on Thu, Aug 07 2008

My father has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, with a possible spread to his kidneys (we’re currently praying that tests prove only cysts on them).

He lives in France now and is being treated there. I sympathise with the woman who was diagnosed with a gall bladder because my Dad was diagnosed with diabetes 18 months ago and his doctor refused to look past that, ignoring all the symptoms we now know are to do with this cancer.

He is starting his treatment soon and I am working overtime so i can get some lieu days to go out to help a bit.

We are all praying it was caught in time, despite the doctors late referal for further tests.

Best wishes to all those suffering from this and all their families.
