My mother in law(80 yrs old) was having a hard time breathing(shallow) and weak so I checked her sugar which was in the 470 range. She does have diabetes so we assumed it was that. We went to the emergency room and they told us she was in liver failure. She was sent straight to the hospital and had a stent put in. No one really told us what was going on until after she got out of the hospital and the docter told me 90% chance of pancreatic cancer.

We went to another docter and he said pancreas cancer and now maybe its in the liver. We are still waiting on results which is the hardest. She is very very weak, doesnt eat much (105 lbs) and is sick to her stomach. I wouldnt say she had symptoms because she had broken her hip a few months prior and has diabetes She was taking pain killers every 4-6 hours for her hip and come to find out that it is bad for your liver. It was just lucky that we took her to the hospital when we did. She did start turning yellow in the hospital before the stent was put in. I wish everyone well, I am just dumbfounded and sad in a situation like this!!!
