To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Dad My dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer about 11 months ago. He had an ulcer/tumour blocking the path of food from the stomach into the duodenum, so he couldnt keep any food down. He underwent surgery to remove it and any metastatic cancer, and 6 months of weekly chemotherapy injections. Now, 11 months on, the cancer has come back and so there are not too many options left. Now there are 4 tumours in his bowel/abdomen and he is having heavy chemo to shrink them down, just to make him more comfortable. He has halved his body weight as he can’t eat and is practically anorexic. If this chemo doesnt work, there are no more options left. Gastric cancer is a bastard of a disease….as you are always uncomfortable, and in pain.
